Since I was 12 I’ve been an Entrepreneur at heart and soul. I’m constantly thinking of ways to innovate new solutions while improving existing solutions. This is what brought me to my latest venture - spinned off from a concept I was working on for a client, TravelgateX (https://www.travelgatex.com) - a marketplace where distributors and suppliers can trade hotel rooms with ease. Our API connects many suppliers through our hub with just one click. We have hundreds of sellers and buyers, with 35K bookings traded each day. We’re currently working on a new twist that will help hotels minimize commissions and maximize profits, while growing their distribution channels significantly. We’re partnered with some of the biggest players in the market with dozens of new partners joining each month. I’m a forward-thinker, good at anticipating needs. I have a keen eye for grabbing opportunities even in the most challenging of times, I love spending hours pouring over spreadsheets, working out feasibility of new businesses and advising companies which risks to take or avoid, based on rich data analysis. I’m not afraid to take calculated risks, and even glorious failures are true learning moments for me. I built and developed a team of 120 people in 8 years from scratch, achieving 100% YoY growth in the last 3 years. I was hands-on in every aspect - from hiring to management to strategy to software development - even biz dev and sales. I am as comfortable working on technology as I am working a room at a networking event. I’m a true communicator and have a knack for putting people at ease in conversation, leading to long lasting relationships. If this era has taught me anything it’s “Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans.” Being agile and open to the twists and turns of this decade took me to a new home, a new industry and I’m excited about the new opportunities ahead.
