I was born on the Swedish speaking west coast of Finland, raised by multilingual parents (Swedish & Finnish) that could be categorized as notorious entrepreneurs. After my studies I was eager to explore the world. During my professional life I have lived in countries like Finland, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt & Spain. My years abroad has given me invaluable experience in leading large diverse organizations with different cultural backgrounds in a constantly changing business & operational environment. The years abroad also gave me significant practical experience in crisis management, due to the nature of the tourism business, constantly impacted by both the ever changing global political environment as well as nature. My leadership is based on values like passion, empowerment, delegated trust & transparency which creates a purpose driven and positive desire among employees to perform. I have also developed a true understanding of how to create a lasting impact from digital transformation created by a cross collaborative working culture, where decisions are taken in a speedy manner close to the customers. I am a keen learner with a highly social and considerate personality with a very positive, curious and opportunity driven approach to life. I have over the years gained a solid business background in many different areas of the Tourism & Transport industry and lately also within Retail. My responsibilities has covered executive management positions within Purchasing, Pricing, Marketing, Sales and Digital Transformation. I have as a partner built my own business from a start up to a one of the fastest-growing Travel companies in Sweden which later was successfully divested. The past eight years I have spent working as a member of the executive leadership team in one of the largest shipping companies in the world Stena Line, both as Chief Commercial Officer for the passenger division and as Chief Transformation Officer driving the group wide program of digital transformation. Stena Line has 1,4 B EUR in turnover, 5000 employees, 28 000 yearly departures and serves more 7000 million passengers yearly. My time on the Group Management team has developed me into a very experienced international business leader with a deep knowledge and understanding of the European transport system & infrastructure.
